1st Amendment

A cornerstone of a free society is the ability to express one's thoughts, ideas, and feelings without fear of government oppression or persecution. Our future is only as great as our ideas derived and expressed through freedom of speech in religion, politics, philosophy, and other areas of American life and thought. Therefore, I will always stand firm for freedom of speech for all Virginians.

Moreover, the separation of Church and State does not mean that citizens have to remove religion from the public square. However, the State must not prohibit the free exercise of religion! That includes group worship, such as closing churches during COVID.
